P & B Group has a career opportunity for an experienced Automotive Electrician to join our Hamilton branch in the field service team. P & B Group is a family-owned business, which has been trading for over 25 years. As well as having an auto electrical workshop in Hamilton we also we operate both a light & heavy mechanical workshop, and a 4×4 parts retail businesses in Hamilton. We are OEM dealers for UD Trucks, Foton, Case & ASV. And have recently been appointed dealer and service agent for Hyundai trucks for the Waikato region.
You will have:
- An Auto Electrical qualification
- Applicants should have at least 3 years of work experience as an automotive electrician
- Air Conditioning experience would be an advantage but not necessary
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team when required
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Great diagnostic skills with the ability to ‘think on your feet’ and ‘problem solve’
- Positive, can-do attitude
- A passion for providing excellent customer service, & ‘getting it right first time’
What we offer:
- Competitive remuneration package
- Minimum guaranteed hours of 45 hours per week, with overtime as approved.
- Pay rate from $34.00 – $38.00 per hour
